Contact Information
We collect names, email addresses, and phone numbers submitted through forms on our site. This information is used solely to communicate with you about Mach Media services, updates, or responses to your inquiries. We do not sell or share this information with third parties.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized hash created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you’re using it. Their privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible publicly in the context of your comment.

Media
If you upload images to Mach Media, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from images.

Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies. These are for convenience so you don’t need to re-enter your details later. These cookies last for one year.

Visiting the login page sets a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we set cookies to save your login information and screen preferences. Login cookies last two days, screen preference cookies last a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes these cookies.

Editing or publishing an article will store another cookie that indicates the post ID of the article edited. It contains no personal data and expires after one day.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on Mach Media may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) from third-party websites. Embedded content behaves the same as if the visitor visited the external site directly.

These third-party sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content—especially if you’re logged into their services.

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve any follow-ups automatically.

For users who register on our website (if applicable), we store the personal information they provide in their profile. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
If you have an account or have left comments on Mach Media, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold. This excludes any data we’re obligated to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
